Tutors

Volunteers are required to tutor children in care who are in need of extra help in achieving their full academic potential. The volunteer will assist a child to experience success in learning through a supportive one-to-one relationship. The children requiring assistance can range from age 6-18 and all academic levels. Scheduling can be arranged directly with the foster parents and the tutor at your mutual convenience.

What it means to Volunteer
an image

Volunteers are a vital part of the Halton Children's Aid Society.  Volunteers supplement and enrich the services provided by staff and can make a significant difference in the life of a child.  Volunteering is a way to fulfill personal goals while contributing to the needs of the community.

We support, facilitate and value the efforts of all volunteers.
