Providing children with stable, nurturing and caring homes
The Children’s Aids Society of Halton strives to keep children living with their families
whenever possible. However, even after receiving relevant support, some parents are
unable to provide adequate care for their children. In situations like these, children may
have to be brought into the care of the Children’s Aids Society (CAS).
Since a child or young person’s needs are better met (in most cases) in a family
environment, a foster family is usually the first choice for these children.
No matter what your experience or skills are, by becoming a foster parent you will have
the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child in need.
