Foster Families Needed In Halton

Although Halton has many experienced and devoted foster families, we desperately need more homes. In Oakville, we have an acute shortage of homes for all ages. In Acton, Georgetown, Milton and Burlington we have a shortage of infant, pre-school, school age and teenage homes. Halton CAS is a part of the Homes For Kids recruitment program. Foster Care Recruitment

Resource workers locate appropriate placements for children coming into care. Staff in this department have specific expertise in finding placements for children in certain age groups and by type of placement.
They also recruit and provide ongoing support and training to alternative care providers.
