Becoming a Foster Family
To meet the diverse needs of the children and young persons that come into our care, it is
important that we recruit foster families that are able to meet these needs. We welcome
and encourage applications from families from different walks of life, cultural, ethnic
racial and religious backgrounds. Foster parents include: members of the gay and lesbian
community, young couples with small children, a single parent family, a single person,
retired (single or married), childless couples, married/common-law couples, or people
with training in child care.
