Seasonal Gift Program
The CAFH works closely with the HCAS and with many other community resources to ensure that all children living in care, and those in need in the community, receive gifts for the holiday season and other forms of assistance throughout the year. Back to school hair cuts and school supplies; diapers and laundry detergent; prescriptions; a new dress for graduation or bus fare to a job interview are just some examples of where our children and families need help. For example, a $1,000 donation can be utilized in a variety of ways; including food vouchers, gifts, warm clothing and footwear, all of which help provide necessities for the winter months and allow families to celebrate seasonal traditions with their children.
